    Description

    We are seeking a temporary Data Entry Clerk for a short-term assignment from 12/22 to 12/31. The role involves entering donor credit card information into systems. Ideal candidates will have strong 10-key data entry skills and be highly detail oriented. Work hours are Monday–Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (with a one-hour lunch). On Fridays, hours are shortened and end at 3:00 p.m. The assignment ends on the 12/31.

    Responsibilities:

    • Input both numerical and text-based data into designated systems or databases with high accuracy.

    • Verify the accuracy of entered data to ensure consistency and completeness.

    • Maintain organized records and files for easy retrieval and reference.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or errors in data.

    • Adhere to established guidelines and deadlines for data entry tasks.

    • Utilize computer systems and software proficiently to manage and process data.

    • Perform regular quality checks to ensure data integrity.

    • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

    • Generate reports or summaries based on entered data when required.

    • Stay updated on relevant procedures and software tools to enhance efficiency.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role.

     

    • Excellent typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.

    • Familiarity with computer systems and data entry software.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    • Effective communication skills for team collaboration.

    • Capacity to handle confidential information responsibly.
