    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Shelton, Washington. This role will focus on providing comprehensive support to HR operations, including onboarding, compliance tracking, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing personnel files, safety protocols, and processes for new team members.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with onboarding processes, including tracking paperwork for new team members, managing credentialing, and ensuring I-9 compliance.

    • Coordinate new employee orientation programs, including preparing handbooks, badges, equipment, and system access.

    • Maintain personnel files and ensure accurate documentation of supervisory notes and compliance records.

    • Support safety initiatives by organizing meetings, managing binders, facilitating drills, and communicating updates.

    • Perform data entry tasks and audit compliance documentation, including training certifications and licenses.

    • Order office supplies and snacks to support daily business operations.

    • Prepare correspondence, meeting agendas, and minutes for leadership and program-related activities.

    • Collaborate with the Corporate Talent Acquisition team to streamline the recruitment process.

    • Serve as a backup for receptionist duties and assist with addressing maintenance requests.

    • Handle special projects and administrative tasks as assigned by management. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or administrative roles.

    • Proficiency in HR systems such as UltiPro, Kronos, and Microsoft Teams.

    • Strong knowledge of onboarding procedures and new employee orientation.

    • Familiarity with safety management practices and compliance tracking.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining personnel files.

    • Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

    • Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
