    Description

    We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join our team in Sacramento, California, on a contract basis. This position focuses on supporting recruitment efforts for a nonprofit organization that provides critical services for youth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in nonprofit recruitment along with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.

    • Perform background checks and ensure compliance with hiring policies.

    • Coordinate and schedule interviews, maintaining clear communication with candidates and hiring teams.

    • Prepare and manage recruitment-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    • Develop job postings and advertise positions on relevant platforms, including CareerBuilder.

    • Support onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all required documentation is completed.

    • Monitor recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of hiring strategies.

    • Assist with benefit-related inquiries and other HR functions as needed.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in nonprofit recruitment or similar HR roles.

    • Strong knowledge of hiring compliance and related procedures.

    • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and hiring teams.

    • Experience with documentation and recordkeeping in HR processes.

    • Availability to work on a permanent or part-time basis, depending on organizational needs.
