    Description

    A growing engineering and technical services firm in Carlsbad is seeking an HR Coordinator to support daily HR operations across a diverse, project-driven workforce. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being highly organized, process-oriented, and actively involved in the execution of HR programs. You will play a key role in keeping HR functions running smoothly while serving as a dependable resource for employees and managers alike. This position offers broad exposure to HR administration, recruiting coordination, compliance tracking, and employee support in a professional, fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates

    + Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files

    + Schedule interviews and support recruiting logistics

    + Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment

    + Track certifications, training, and compliance documentation

    + Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures

    + Prepare HR reports related to headcount, turnover, and compliance

    Requirements

    + 2–4 years of HR coordination or HR administrative experience

    + Experience supporting technical, engineering, or professional services environments preferred

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office

    + Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices

    + Professional communication skills and discretion
