    Description

    Thriving Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm located in the heart of New York City, is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Paralegal to join its collegial, dynamic, and growing practice! The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of plaintiff's personal injury experience and will be able to independently handle a busy case load from start to finish. Must follow through, have excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a fully on-site role.

    Responsibilities:

    + Utilize Smart Advocate to manage cases

    + Handle busy case load (approximately 160 cases)

    + Follow up with clients / medical providers / insurance carriers re documentation, doctor visits, etc.

    + Regularly e-file documents using NYSCEF

    + Tracking deadlines

    + Drafting legal documents with attorney supervision (summons, bills of particulars, subpoenas,, etc.)

    + Assisting with deposition and trial prep; preparing exhibits

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years of NY Plaintiffs Personal Injury experience

    + Ability to independently handle a caseload of 160 cases with minimal supervision

    + Experience with Smart Advocate or similar case management software tool

    + Extremely detail oriented and excellent follow through

    + Spanish bilingual a plus
