Description We are looking for a dedicated Real Estate Attorney to join our legal team in Clayton, Missouri. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established organization specializing in title insurance and real estate closing services. With a strong focus on supporting residential, commercial, and lender transactions, this role involves addressing complex legal matters while ensuring smooth and compliant closings.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and execute legal documents related to escrow, mortgages, and real estate transactions.

• Conduct thorough underwriting of title and mortgage documentation for both residential and commercial transactions.

• Analyze and resolve intricate real estate legal issues to facilitate successful closings.

• Collaborate with clients, lenders, and internal teams to ensure compliance and seamless transaction processes.

• Provide expert legal guidance across multiple affiliated companies and partnership ventures.

• Address and manage escalated legal matters affecting real estate transactions.

• Ensure compliance with Missouri legal requirements and industry regulations.

• Participate in strategic discussions to enhance legal and underwriting services.

• Contribute to maintaining a supportive and detail-oriented team environment.

• Assist with ongoing legal training and development initiatives within the organization. Requirements • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with active Missouri Bar license.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in real estate law, escrow, mortgage, or title underwriting.

• Strong ability to underwrite and resolve complex real estate legal issues.

• Familiarity with commercial and residential real estate transactions.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

• Experience with civil litigation, drafting motions, and conducting discovery processes.

• A commitment to providing high-quality legal support and maintaining integrity.
