Robert Half is looking for a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join a growing firm in North Barrington, Illinois. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with high-net-worth clients, advising them on intricate estate planning strategies and overseeing trust and estate administration matters. Responsibilities:

+ Provide strategic counsel to clients on estate planning matters, including tax mitigation, asset protection, and long-term financial goals.

+ Draft comprehensive legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney tailored to client needs.

+ Oversee trust and estate administration, managing tasks like asset valuation, collection, and distribution.

+ Prepare and file federal and state estate and gift tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Represent clients in probate court proceedings, offering guidance throughout the legal process.

+ Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless handling of complex legal cases and client matters.

+ Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations.

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Requirements

+ Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized and accredited law school.

+ Active licensure to practice law in the state of Illinois.

+ At least 4 years of experience specializing in estate planning, trust administration, and probate.

+ Proficiency in drafting legal documents with exceptional attention to detail.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

+ Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

+ Deep understanding of estate planning laws, tax regulations, and legal procedures.

+ Client-focused approach with the ability to build trust and rapport.
