A well-established, full-service law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing Princeton, New Jersey office. This role offers hands-on litigation experience and the opportunity to work closely with seasoned attorneys on a broad range of complex business disputes.

The position involves representing clients in commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, professional liability, premises liability, products liability, and construction-related claims. Associates will be actively involved in all stages of litigation and expected to take ownership of matters as experience permits.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

+ Manage cases through all phases of litigation in New Jersey and Pennsylvania state and federal courts

+ Conduct factual investigations and handle written discovery

+ Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and other substantive filings

+ Take and defend depositions and assist with trial preparation

+ Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategy

Qualifications:

+ 4–6 years of commercial litigation experience

+ Strong academic background

+ Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

+ Courtroom and deposition experience strongly preferred

+ Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment

+ Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus

+ Active bar admission in New Jersey and Pennsylvania required
