Description We are looking for a skilled litigation attorney to join our Healthcare Practice Group in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This position requires expertise in handling complex medical malpractice cases and offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in complex medical malpractice litigation involving significant injury and loss.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and reviewing evidence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
• Advocate effectively in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Utilize document management systems such as iManage to organize and maintain case files.
• Provide defense litigation services with a focus on healthcare-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in case handling.
• Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed about case progress.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments in healthcare and medical malpractice law. Requirements • Licensed attorney with admission to the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare litigation or medical malpractice cases.
• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client representation.
