Description

We are a fast‑paced, client‑focused Personal Injury law firm seeking an experienced Remote Paralegal to join our team. We handle a wide range of PI matters and pride ourselves on exceptional client service, strong case results, and a collaborative work environment. This role manages cases from intake through settlement or trial, providing critical support to attorneys throughout the entire lifecycle of each claim.

Position Overview

The Paralegal will oversee a caseload of Personal Injury matters and support both pre‑litigation and litigation functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to independently manage deadlines in a remote work setting. Candidates must have 5+ years of direct Personal Injury experience. Compensation Range is $70,000-$90,000 DOE.

Key Responsibilities

Client Intake & Case Management

+ Conduct new client intakes and gather initial case information.

+ Establish open and consistent communication with clients.

+ Obtain medical records, bills, insurance information, and supporting documentation.

+ Maintain a detailed and organized case file from start to finish.

Pre-Litigation Tasks

+ Draft demand letters and prepare settlement packages.

+ Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters as needed.

+ Track medical treatment and damages; prepare settlement spreadsheets.

+ Assist attorneys in evaluating claims and preparing cases for potential litigation.

Litigation Support

+ Draft pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, and correspondence.

+ Prepare exhibits, subpoenas, and trial binders.

+ Coordinate with experts, providers, and opposing counsel.

+ Manage litigation deadlines, calendaring, and court filings.

+ Assist attorneys with trial preparation and organization.

Required Qualifications

+ 5+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal (both pre‑litigation and litigation).

+ Strong understanding of Personal Injury procedures, terminology, and workflow.

+ Experience working cases from intake through settlement and/or trial.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ High level of organization and ability to manage multiple cases.

+ Proficiency with legal management software and remote collaboration tools.

+ Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
