Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Stockton, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general billing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Handle accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and payment tracking.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Manage billing functions, including preparing and verifying invoices.

• Review and resolve discrepancies in financial documents and reports.

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Analyze financial data to support reporting and decision-making processes.

• Assist in monthly and year-end financial close activities.

• Participate in identifying process improvements to enhance accounting operations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.

• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong knowledge of billing and account reconciliation procedures.

• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.

• Demonstrated ability to work with financial software and tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
