Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Fresno, California. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a vital part in managing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to the success of the organization. This position is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare and post journal entries to support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

• Execute month-end close procedures in a timely and organized manner.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track accounting records effectively.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.

• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented work.

• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries and bank reconciliations.

• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
