    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Lahaina, Hawaii. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering exceptional customer service.     Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and verify daily bank deposits, ensuring all received funds are accurately documented.

    • Record incoming payments into appropriate accounts within the general ledger to maintain precise financial records.

    • Address guest and customer inquiries related to accounts receivable transactions with professionalism and efficiency.

    • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    • Ensure timely and accurate billing processes while adhering to company policies.

    • Assist with cash applications and collections to optimize receivable functions.

    • Perform routine audits of accounts receivable records to identify and correct errors.

    • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports related to receivables.

    • Maintain organized documentation for all accounts receivable activities.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for streamlining receivable procedures.

     

    Requirements • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.

     

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly in customer service.

    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Familiarity with billing functions and commercial collections.

    • Experience with cash applications and cash collections is highly desirable.

    • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving processes and systems.
