Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to manage payroll operations for a large workforce. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with multi-state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for over 3,000 employees, including both salaried and hourly staff, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Handle payroll-related tasks such as garnishments, tax filings, and commissions for employees across Texas and Ohio.

• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to manage and analyze payroll data efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members to address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and company policies.

• Maintain employee payroll records and update information as needed.

• Work with ADP Workforce Now to process payroll and generate necessary reports.

• Assist in audits and provide documentation to support payroll activities.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the optimization of payroll workflows.

• Provide support during onboarding and training of new hires in payroll processes. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

• Proven ability to manage payroll for at least 500-1,000 employees.

• Proficiency in multi-state payroll operations, particularly in Texas and Ohio.

• Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and its functionalities.

• Expertise in handling payroll garnishments and tax filings.

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
