    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Stuart, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and streamlining the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in AP functions and contribute to a dynamic environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor setup, payment management, and reconciliation.

    • Process purchase orders and maintain approval workflows to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

    • Conduct three-way matching for invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to verify accuracy.

    • Manage payment matching and prepare check runs in a timely manner.

    • Perform invoice coding and processing with precision and attention to detail.

    • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure accurate recordkeeping.

    • Handle AP aging reports and monitor outstanding balances.

    • Set up and manage 1099 forms for vendors, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable operations, with expertise in full-cycle AP processes.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other financial software.

    • Strong knowledge of coding invoices and managing check runs.

    • Ability to perform accurate invoice processing and reconcile payments.

    • Familiarity with three-way matching and purchase order workflows.

    • Skilled in AP aging reports and vendor management.

    • Understanding of 1099 setup and tax compliance.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
