    Description

    We are looking for a Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate handling and processing of customer deposits, currency, and checks. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to policies, and the ability to work independently during weekday day shifts with occasional overtime.

    Responsibilities:

    • Verify assigned tasks and inspect deposit bags for any signs of tampering.

    • Process customer deposits and resolve discrepancies in account balances.

    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies as well as state and federal regulations.

    • Detect counterfeit currency or suspicious activity, promptly reporting findings to supervisors.

    • Achieve or exceed established productivity targets for deposit processing operations.

    • Validate cash settlements and transfer funds securely to designated vaults.

    • Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes.

    • Work independently with minimal supervision to meet daily operational goals.

     

    The salary range for this position is $17/hr to $18/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.     Requirements • Proficiency in cash applications and payment posting processes.

     

    • Experience handling accounts receivable and reconciling transactions.

    • Strong skills in accurately processing and posting cash payments.

    • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.

    • Familiarity with detecting counterfeit currency and ensuring compliance.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    • Comfortable working independently and meeting productivity standards.
