Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join a multi-national non-profit organization based in Fort Worth, Texas. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of accounting functions, including financial statement preparation and reconciliation tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial accounting systems and be skilled in managing detailed accounts with precision.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements for multiple entities within the organization.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

• Assist with annual audit processes and tax preparation activities.

• Manage the integration of accounts payable and accounts receivable into the general ledger system.

• Conduct monthly account analyses to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Utilize financial institution software to support accounting processes and reporting.

• Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Collaborate on month-end close procedures to meet organizational deadlines.

• Maintain thorough documentation and records for accounting functions as required.

• Support additional accounting tasks and projects as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience with corporate tax and sales tax processes.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger systems.

• Proficiency in month-end close procedures and account reconciliations.

• Ability to perform bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.

• Expertise in financial accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud financial software is preferred.

• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
