    Description

    Our client, a well-respected nonprofit organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage all aspects of accounts payable. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled AP professional who wants to support the mission and operations of a community-focused organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process high-volume invoices with accuracy and in a timely manner

    + Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies

    + Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

    + Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries

    + Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations

    + Ensure compliance with organizational policies and nonprofit regulatory requirements

    + Collaborate with finance and program teams for grant and project accounting support

    + Maintain organized AP files and documentation for audits

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of accounts payable experience; nonprofit experience preferred

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or other nonprofit solutions) and Microsoft Excel

    + Knowledge of fund accounting or grants management is a plus

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
