    Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with month-end close and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to grow in the accounting field.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation

    + Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

    + Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records

    + Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, and customer payments

    + Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports

    + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

    + Help maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

    + Provide audit support and gather required documentation

    + Perform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as needed

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships accepted)

    + Strong understanding of GAAP

    + Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)

    + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    + Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

    + Good communication and teamwork skills

    Preferred Skills (Optional):

    + Experience with ERP systems

    + Knowledge of bank reconciliations, accrual accounting, and fixed assets
