    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive workplace, while playing an important part in our company’s accounting operations.

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policy.

     

    Reconcile general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.

     

    Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures.

     

    Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.

     

    Help process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

     

    Assist in payroll processing, as needed.

     

    Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.

     

    Support internal and external audit requests with required documentation.

     

    Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure the integrity of financial information.

     

    Identify opportunities for process improvements and support their implementation.

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

     

    1+ years of relevant experience; prior accounting or bookkeeping background preferred.

     

    Familiarity with GAAP and standard accounting principles.

     

    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).

     

    Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

     

    Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

     

    Effective verbal and written communication skills.
