Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our team in Midland, Texas. This contract-to-permanent position requires proficiency in handling title-related documentation, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will be organized, thorough, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Process vehicle registrations and titles in compliance with state regulations.

• Prepare tax and title documentation for submission to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

• Verify collected funds and ensure accurate payment to lienholders before processing applications.

• Review title applications for completeness and accuracy, addressing any discrepancies.

• Issue payoff checks for trade-ins and manage TT& L payments.

• Maintain a tracking system for out-of-state titles and update weekly notes on outstanding title work.

• Report missing or problematic title documentation to management promptly.

• Sign over titles to wholesalers after confirming full payment.

• Stay updated on title regulations by attending seminars and relevant training sessions.

• Train team members on title processes and conduct periodic sessions for F& I managers and sales staff. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.

• Experience in invoice processing and financial documentation.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Knowledge of state title regulations and processes.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
