Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Pooler, Georgia. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall accounting operations. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including matching, coding, and verifying invoices.

• Manage accounts receivable functions, such as tracking payments and generating invoices.

• Maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting activities.

• Perform data entry tasks to ensure all financial information is up-to-date and organized.

• Handle invoice processing efficiently while adhering to company standards.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information at all times.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software.

• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Knowledge of invoice processing and general ledger reconciliation.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time role.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in all financial matters.
