Description
We are looking for a proactive Credit & Collections Manager to join our client's team in Huntsville, Alabama. As part of this Contract to permanent position, you will play a critical role in optimizing accounts receivable processes, driving strategic B2B collections improvements, and fostering collaboration across departments. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can navigate manual systems while contributing to the design of future-state processes.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and motivate the collections team to enhance performance and achieve organizational goals.
• Review and analyze accounts receivable data to identify collection blockers and prioritize resolution efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams to improve visibility and streamline workflows.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manual collections processes and prepare for system upgrades.
• Utilize tools like Excel for receivables tracking while planning for future automation.
• Support forecasting by analyzing collection trends and providing actionable insights.
• Partner with leadership to align collections strategies with broader organizational objectives.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of receivables modules in the adopted system.
• Conduct systematic reviews of invoices and backlog to ensure accuracy and timely resolution.
• Facilitate the transition to new systems and processes while maintaining operational efficiency during the change.
Requirements • Proven experience in commercial collections and credit analysis.
• Strong ability to lead and coordinate teams in a global environment.
• Expertise in manual accounts receivable processes with a focus on process improvement.
• Proficiency in using tools like Excel for data management and analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly receivables modules, is highly desirable.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
• Comfortable in dynamic environments with evolving processes and systems.
