Description
We are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting related to clinical trial costs. This long-term contract position is based in Burlington Massachusetts and requires someone with a strong background in financial management and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis to drive process improvements and support organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the financial planning and analysis process for clinical trial costs, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
• Provide expert consultation and strategic insights to project teams and functional leaders to guide decision-making.
• Develop and implement continuous improvements to financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Create detailed financial models to forecast costs and evaluate key business metrics.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders, highlighting trends and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies.
• Support the development of long-term financial strategies that align with company goals.
Requirements • Minimum of five years of experience in financial management or analysis.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Strong skills in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives within financial systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
