Description

Robert Half's enterprise client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX Designer to join their team in Austin, TX. In this contract position, you will play a key role in designing and optimizing web applications used by internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a strong ability to transform complex requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements using online data, usability findings, market research, and UCD principles.

+ Assess and optimize new and existing features through usability testing and data analytics.

+ Present design work to UX, product teams, and leadership for feedback.

+ Contribute to interface design best practices and drive UI innovation for web applications.

+ Provide leadership in web application and user interface design.

Nice to Have:

+ Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.

+ Ability to explain complex design concepts to varied audiences.

+ Self-starter, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

+ Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments.

+ Experience with ERP systems

Requirements

+ 3+ years as a UX Designer for web-based applications.

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience.

+ Proficient in Figma or similar tools; experience with Balsamiq, Visio a plus.

+ Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design and interaction solutions.

+ Strong knowledge of web information architecture, usability principles, and prototyping.
