Description We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine products that meet user needs and align with business goals. Based in New York, New York, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while leveraging your expertise in product design.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to create user-centered designs that align with project requirements.

• Facilitate backlog grooming sessions to prioritize tasks and ensure clarity in project goals.

• Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to manage design processes and deliverables.

• Collaborate with product managers to translate business objectives into actionable design strategies.

• Conduct bug tracking and resolution in coordination with development teams to enhance product quality.

• Employ Atlassian Jira to document and monitor design progress effectively.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate design concepts.

• Gather and analyze user feedback to refine designs and improve usability.

• Ensure consistency and scalability in design systems across multiple products.

• Participate in regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Requirements • Proven experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.

• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and ability to work in iterative development environments.

• Expertise in backlog grooming and task prioritization processes.

• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking.

• Strong knowledge of bug tracking tools and processes.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable design strategies.
