Description We are looking for a detail-driven and motivated Audit Staff to join our growing team in Eden, North Carolina. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative firm environment while gaining exposure to public sector and non-profit audits. Responsibilities:

• Perform audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements for clients across various industries, with a focus on public sector and non-profit organizations.

• Assist clients with engagements involving governmental, non-profit, Yellow Book, and federal or state single audits.

• Conduct comprehensive testing, including substantive procedures and walkthroughs of internal controls.

• Prepare accurate working papers, draft financial statements, and organize supporting documentation.

• Manage tasks independently while ensuring deadlines are met with precision.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to handle data analysis, create schedules, and perform reconciliations.

• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality audit services and provide valuable insights.

• Maintain strong attention to detail and uphold high standards in all audit-related tasks. Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in public auditing preferred.

• Familiarity with governmental, non-profit, Yellow Book, and single audits is advantageous.

• Proven ability to succeed in a small, collaborative office setting.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functionalities.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
