Senior Accountant – Private Equity (Boca Raton, FL)

We are a growing private equity firm based in Boca Raton, FL, seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. This is a unique opportunity to step out of public accounting and into the world of private equity.

What You’ll Do

+ Oversee day-to-day accounting for corporate entities and investment funds.

+ Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and supporting schedules.

+ Manage monthly and quarterly close processes.

+ Partner with internal teams and external auditors on reporting requirements.

+ Assist with capital calls, distributions, and performance reporting.

+ Contribute to process improvements as the firm continues to grow.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Accounting/Finance preferred.

+ CPA license or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.

+ 3–5 years of progressive accounting

+ Solid understanding of GAAP; exposure to investment management, financial services, or private equity a plus.

+ Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

+ High level of initiative with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
