Melissa Ford with Robert half is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join her client's organization. The ideal candidate will oversee tax planning, compliance, and preparation for various entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local and federal regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute strategically to client financial decisions while leading tax-related processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes for clients.

• Conduct in-depth research on tax laws and policies to provide accurate guidance and recommendations.

• Oversee entity formation processes, including LLCs and other corporate structures.

• Train and mentor team members on tax preparation and accounting functions.

• Maintain and analyze financial statements, focusing on tax provisions and projections.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and CCH ProSystem Fx to streamline processes.

• Perform risk assessments related to tax compliance and financial reporting.

• Handle adjusting journal entries and bookkeeping functions to ensure accurate financial records.

• Collaborate with clients on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management, including corporate and individual tax preparation.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as CCH ProSystem Fx, QuickBooks, and Sage.

• Strong understanding of annual income tax provisions and corporate tax return processes.

• Experience with entity formation, including LLCs and corporate structures.

• Excellent analytical skills to conduct tax research and develop strategies.

• Ability to mentor and train team members in tax and accounting practices.

• Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
