Description
A healthcare-focused advisory firm is seeking a Financial Due Diligence Senior Analyst to join its Dallas office. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and leadership capabilities, excellent project management and communication skills, and a sense of urgency in delivering high-quality client service. This role will primarily support quality of earnings engagements, with opportunities to assist on other healthcare advisory projects such as mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and strategic consulting.
Key Responsibilities
+ Participate in buy-side and sell-side pre-transaction quality of earnings engagements, providing financial due diligence and advisory support to publicly traded healthcare companies, large health systems, private equity firms, and investment banks nationwide.
+ Develop and utilize financial models to analyze company data, identifying historical and projected financial and operational trends, quality of earnings issues, working capital considerations, potential liabilities, and underlying risks.
+ Conduct interviews with target company management and perform follow-up analysis to assess and clearly communicate findings related to earnings quality, net assets, and cash flows.
+ Prepare comprehensive quality of earnings reports and detailed supporting schedules.
Requirements
+ 1–3 years of experience performing quality of earnings and/or other financial advisory engagements (e.g., valuation) at a Big Four or other large, reputable public accounting or advisory firm.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution; CPA eligibility required. Active CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
+ Strong technical accounting knowledge, including U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting; familiarity with the healthcare industry and regulatory environment is a plus.
+ Demonstrated ability to perform complex quantitative and qualitative financial analyses and translate results into actionable insights.
+ Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ High level of motivation and interest in contributing to a growing Financial Due Diligence practice.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with QuickBooks preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interactions.
+ Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a track record of solving complex problems through thoughtful, creative approaches.
+ Willingness to travel as required.
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
