Tammy Power, Recruiting Manager with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join a highly reputable firm in Bakersfield, California. In this role, you will handle critical legal tasks and collaborate closely with attorneys and clients to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities:

• Draft and review essential legal documents, including agreements, motions, and contracts.

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex legal matters to support attorneys.

• Manage client documentation and ensure compliance with legal standards.

• Coordinate depositions and maintain detailed records of proceedings.

• Assist in civil litigation processes, including preparing case files and handling discovery.

• Maintain proficiency in legal databases such as Westlaw, as well as Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ensure all corporate transactions are accurately documented and aligned with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to develop strategies for case management.

• Provide support and guidance to clients regarding legal processes and documentation.

• Uphold the firm’s standards for professionalism and confidentiality in all legal matters.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate transactions and civil litigation.

• Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures.

• Exceptional skills in drafting motions, agreements, and other legal documents.

• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Microsoft Office Suite.

• California paralegal certificate or paralegal certification, along with a bachelor’s degree.

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex legal issues effectively.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
