Our clients are seeking a Senior Accountant who can step in as a key contributor to the accounting function, support month‑end activities, and help drive operational excellence across the finance team. Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a central role in maintaining the integrity of financial information and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. This individual will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, support audits, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Develop and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision‑making
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
