Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role requires advanced expertise in QuickBooks and a strong foundation in general accounting principles. The ideal candidate will excel at managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy while effectively communicating with both internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Record and reconcile daily deposits, including incoming wires and other financial transfers.

• Update and maintain financial records using QuickBooks to ensure data integrity.

• Reconcile expense accounts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting tasks.

• Assist the accounting team with administrative duties and provide operational support.

• Collaborate with vendors and clients to address and resolve billing or payment issues promptly.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies in all financial activities. Requirements • At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.

• Previous experience in trust accounting or the legal industry is highly desirable.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to effectively manage deadlines.

• Associate degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, though not required.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and team members.
