    Colleen McAuliffe from Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant who is fluent in Mandarin to join our clients growing finance team.     The role is 100% remote outside of quarterly meetings in Silicon Valley, CA ****Mandarin is a requirement. In addition, the must be eligible to work in the U.S.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform month-end close activities, including preparing reconciliations and maintaining accurate documentation.

    • Generate sales invoices and process billing adjustments after reviewing customer agreements.

    • Monitor and manage cash applications to ensure accurate accounts receivable records.

    • Oversee vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements with attention to detail.

    • Conduct corporate credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    • Assist with inventory management and fixed asset tracking, including periodic cycle counts.

    • Support accounting processes related to imported goods, duties, and compliance requirements. • Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Operations, HR, and Legal to address financial needs. • Work with international teams to resolve accounting and system-related issues effectively. • Contribute to audits, tax filings, and financial analysis as needed

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

     

    • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently.

    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

    • High ethical standards and a sense of accountability in work.

    • Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.

    • Willingness to travel monthly to a company office and occasionally to other locations.
