Description
We are looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize revenue cycle processes in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure compliance with Minnesota healthcare programs, manage billing and collections, and drive operational excellence across multiple service lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance and a proven track record of managing revenue integrity and payer relations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage accounts receivable functions, including billing, collections, and reconciliations, to ensure accurate and timely revenue processing.
• Develop and implement strategies for maintaining compliance with Minnesota Department of Human Services and healthcare program requirements.
• Oversee authorization management processes to ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Handle audits and corrective action plans, ensuring compliance with state and program guidelines.
• Manage payer relations and negotiate contracts to optimize reimbursement.
• Supervise multi-service teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency across revenue cycle functions.
• Conduct regular reviews of aging reports and cash applications to identify trends and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper handling of prior authorizations and account reconciliations to maintain revenue integrity.
• Monitor healthcare billing workflows for Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance claims to ensure adherence to policies.
• Provide leadership in supporting fiscal management services and self-directed service models.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Expertise in Minnesota healthcare programs, including waiver-based services and 245D compliance.
• Strong knowledge of billing processes, payer requirements, and managed care contracting.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams across multiple service lines.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare billing workflows and prior authorizations.
• Experience in handling audits and implementing corrective action plans.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and experience with fiscal management services or self-directed service models.
