Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in purchasing and supply chain management. In addition to supporting procurement activities, the Junior Buyer will assist with shipping, packing, and material logistics to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist in purchasing raw materials, hardware, and components from approved suppliers.
+ Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up with vendors to ensure timely fulfillment.
+ Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information in ERP/MRP systems.
+ Support cost tracking, vendor evaluations, and sourcing alternatives.
+ Communicate with internal departments to understand material requirements and lead times.
+ Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to avoid shortages or overstock.
+ Help resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
+ Send requests for quotes to suppliers for outside services.

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field.
+ 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or shipping—preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Basic understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain functions.
+ Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
+ Comfortable working in both office and light industrial environments.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
+ Experience in AS9100 or ISO-certified environments is a plus.
+ Knowledge of ITAR and export documentation requirements is preferred.
