Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to oversee and ensure adherence to federal reporting standards. This role involves managing SEC filings, 10K, 10Q, revenue recognition, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in accounting and a proven ability to handle complex regulatory requirements. This is an individual contributor role. If you are a strong technical accountant with your CPA, this could be the role for you. The client is open to this level as well.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage SEC filings, including Form 10-K and other regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee financial reporting processes to meet federal standards and deadlines.
• Conduct thorough reviews of revenue recognition practices to ensure alignment with regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with evolving SEC requirements.
• Provide expertise in code review and financial documentation to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Identify and implement best practices for improving reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor changes in SEC regulations and advise leadership on necessary adjustments.
• Support internal audits and external reviews related to financial reporting.
• Train and guide team members on compliance protocols and standards.
• Develop and maintain policies surrounding SEC reporting and compliance.
Requirements • Extensive experience with SEC reporting, including Form 10-K preparation.
• CPA designation is required.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and revenue recognition.
• Proven ability to conduct code reviews related to financial documentation.
• Familiarity with compliance processes and SEC regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
