Brittany Bui with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Battle Ground, Washington. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing tax-related functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and delivering high-quality services to clients. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will lead a team, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to organizational success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage tax and accounting operations to maximize productivity and meet organizational efficiency targets.

• Provide training and mentorship to team members, supporting detail-oriented growth aligned with company goals.

• Conduct technical reviews to ensure quality and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.

• Prepare and verify accurate financial reports, working papers, and data while addressing discrepancies.

• Offer strategic recommendations to clients that align with organizational objectives and financial goals.

• Monitor and refine accounting policies and procedures to improve reporting and compliance processes.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local financial regulations by staying updated on relevant legislation.

• Collaborate on quarterly, half-year, and annual financial deliverables, including reconciliations and journal entries.

• Develop comprehensive reports, including cash-flow analysis and commentary on financial variances.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Salary Range: $85k-125k

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax management within a public setting.

• Expertise in preparing annual income tax provisions and corporate tax returns.

• Proficient in using tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax.

• Familiarity with entity formation and related financial processes.

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to financial reporting.

• Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.

• Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
