Description

We are partnering with a rapidly growing company in Virginia Beach that is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations. If you have at least 7 years of hands-on leadership experience overseeing multiple business units and driving operational excellence, we encourage you to apply today.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

+ Lead daily operations across multiple brands and internal departments, ensuring optimal functionality and efficient workflows.

+ Translate strategic goals into practical operational plans, guiding execution to achieve organizational objectives.

+ Develop, document, and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and operational excellence.

+ Evaluate processes for bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to enhance overall efficiency.

+ Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to department heads, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct ongoing performance reviews to ensure alignment with targets.

+ Partner in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management efforts to support financial goals.

+ Track and report on metrics such as margins and operational efficiency, contributing to profitability.

+ Implement project management and reporting tools to strengthen operational capabilities.

+ Direct cross-functional projects from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and milestones.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

+ At least 7 years’ experience in operations, business management, or leadership roles.

+ Track record of successfully scaling business operations in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

+ Advanced financial knowledge, including hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and managing key performance indicators (KPIs).

+ Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee cross-functional projects with effective results.

+ Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, contributing to operational excellence.

+ Unwavering integrity, accountability, and ownership in all leadership responsibilities.

+ Experience within e-commerce, media, training, or holding company settings is highly desirable.

+ Familiarity with execution frameworks such as OKRs or related methodologies is a plus.
