Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in White Plains, New York. This role demands a detail-oriented individual who can manage both accounts payable and receivable tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial records while supporting compliance and audit efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and verify accurate general ledger coding and timely approvals.

• Prepare payment runs, manage wire transfers, and maintain invoice documentation.

• Reconcile customer chargebacks and deductions to ensure accurate accounts receivable records.

• Collaborate with customers to resolve disputes and issue credit memos.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and customers regarding payment matters.

• Maintain and update vendor and customer profiles in financial systems.

• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings by resolving discrepancies.

• Apply payments and ensure financial records are consistently accurate. Requirements • Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong experience with financial systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms.

• Skilled in performing bank reconciliations and resolving account discrepancies.

• Knowledge of general ledger management and invoice coding.

• Ability to work effectively with vendors and customers to address payment issues.

• Familiarity with compliance and audit procedures.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and issue resolution.
