What You'll Do

+ Design, execute and maintain complex manual and automated test cases for multi-channel marketing campaigns sent from Salesforce Marketing Cloud; record and log resultsValidate dynamic content rendering for multi-language campaigns. Perform data-driven testing for email journeys triggered by Salesforce CRM Lightning data and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

+ Data Validation & Troubleshooting : Create and update manual/automated test cases as needed. Audit existing test cases and test data monthly to prevent out of date/stale tests. Approve changes to test cases/environment made by other QA team members. Create and maintain user data for new features for validation for Marketing stakeholders.

+ Understand the requirements for projects they are working on and the dependencies of the project. Work with QAteam members to perform risk assessment, time estimates of test strategy for their projects. Create and design test plans/cases for their projects (including but not limited to: requirement maps, happy path/failure paths, expected results, user data, risk assessment, time assessment.)

+ Actively participate in or lead meetings with various stakeholdersProvide real-time updates to projects QA is working on. Ask questions to help narrow down project requirements. Provide weekly reports to management (test cases executed, time spent, errors found in production etc.)

+ Verify issues raised by stakeholders/customers. Use domain expertise to try to narrow down root cause of the issues. Identify what test coverage we need in place to not run into reported errors again. Work with the Marketing Automation, operations and engineering teams to reproduce errors with email journeys and automations, SMS and push, in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Lightning CRM. Monitor alerts from third party vendors re: outages; Address breaks in experiences

+ Keeps up to date on new tools and best practices, communicates interesting finds to team members. Collect data points for existing test procedures to determine their validity. Help design Proof of Concepts for new process improvements.

What You'll Need

+ Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

+ **6+ years** of experience in **Quality Assurance** in a digital marketing environment, with at least 4 years using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

+ 4+ years hands-on experience with **Salesforce Marketing Cloud** (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio).

+ Advanced SQL scripting skills for data validation and complex query development

+ Strong ampscript knowledge for email rendering, SMS/push, and dynamic content verification

+ Strong HTML/CSS/Javascript knowledge to understand email rendering, SMS/push content blocks and cloud pages in SFMC

+ Proven experience validating multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push) and dynamic content personalization using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization, and Einstein features

+ Strong background in data flow analysis, API testing, and integration validation between CRM and marketing platforms

+ Experience in QA for data cloud platforms, specifically Salesforce Data Cloud, with strong skills in validating data pipelines, cloud integrations, and end-to-end data workflows

+ Advanced experience with software test planning, execution and validation, including expertise with various testing tools and methods (, , QTest, JiraSelenium)

+ Advanced experience in test environment managements, test collaboration, tools selection and implementation in a medium to large company with a global environment.

+ Advanced knowledge of business process and data flow identification and documentation.

+ Advanced testing application interfaces and data conversion.

+ Experienced with industry standard code review practices.

+ Experience managing testing in multiple Cloud (Data cloud / AWS ) based environments)

+ Advanced knowledge of the overall application development and bug life cycle. Agile preferred.

+ Ability to conduct test planning and execution. Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret business acumen

+ Capable of balancing multiple priorities and remain flexible in a changing environment

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

+ Strong professional judgment with the ability to appropriately influence others as needed

+ Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Ability to gather and synthesize requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with product development and business owners

+ Ability to create detailed and complex test plans for large very complex initiatives

+ Knowledge of multiple testing methodologies and non-functional testing practices

+ Ability to develop and manage multiple enterprise-wide test plans, meeting established deliverables and timelines

+ Ability to facilitate, conduct meetings, gather information, and present status

+ Ability to design testing solutions for new processes and new business practices.

Technical Skills and Certifications:

+ Expertise in QA tools and frameworks (e.g., **Robot Framework, , Selenium** ).

+ Proficiency in SQL, Ampscript, **HTML, CSS, JavaScript** for email rendering and data validation.

+ Familiarity with **Cloud environments** (Salesforce Data Cloud / AWS ) and **Agile methodologies** .

+ Experience with **Jira** , **qTest** , Email on Acid and other test management tools.

+ Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$94,000.00 - $138,000.00
