The Senior Manager, Innovations is responsible for driving, designing, and scaling customer-facing AI, robotics, and warehouse automation solutions. This role acts as a strategic bridge between customers, operations, IT, and technology partners, translating business challenges into innovative, scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost performance across warehouse and fulfillment environments. The role leads innovation programs from ideation through pilot and industrialization, ensuring measurable business impact and customer value.
Your Tasks
* Lead the end-to-end innovation lifecycle for AI, robotics, and warehouse automation initiatives (concept → pilot → rollout).
* Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies including:
* AI / Machine Learning (forecasting, computer vision, predictive analytics)
* Robotics (AMRs, AGVs, robotic picking, sortation)
* Warehouse automation systems (AS/RS, conveyors, goods-to-person)
* Own the customer innovation roadmap aligned with business strategy and operational priorities.
* Act as the primary innovation partner for strategic customers, understanding their pain points and translating them into technology-driven solutions.
* Lead customer workshops, innovation labs, and executive presentations.
* Partner closely with Operations, IT, Engineering, Finance, and Procurement to ensure feasibility and ROI.
* Manage cross-functional teams delivering complex innovation programs.
* Develop business cases, ROI models, and KPIs to measure success.
* Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions across multiple sites.
* Support change management, training, and adoption across operations.
* Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, startups, and integrators.
* Lead RFPs, pilots, and proof-of-concepts with external partners.
* Stay current on industry trends and competitive innovation landscapes.
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* 5+ years of experience in innovation, automation, AI, robotics, or digital transformation, preferably in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or e-commerce.
* Proven experience delivering warehouse automation or AI solutions at scale.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and end-to-end supply chain processes.
* Experience managing cross-functional, international teams.
* Strong business acumen with the ability to build and defend ROI cases.
