    Position: LTS Secondary English Teacher (Posting number 2526-3608)

     

    Start Date: February 13, 2026 - March 20, 2026

     

    Requirements: Must have NYS Certification as a 7-12 English Language Arts Teacher

    + Team based planning and collaborating

    + Previous teaching experience in secondary setting preferred

    + Exemplify the WCSD Essential Skills and Core Beliefs

    + Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning

    Responsibilities:

    + Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved curriculum

    + Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the academic program, ensuring that all students are able to access text and communicate understanding through writing

    + Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students

    + Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference

     

    Salary: As per current Webster Teachers Contract as well as education and experience
