    Position: Day Shift Custodian /Full Time, 12 months (Posting Number 2526-3579)

     

    Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm

     

    Start Date: ASAP

    We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:

    + Must meet qualifications for Monroe County Civil Service title of Custodian or be reachable on a current list

    + Ability to supervise assigned cleaners to meet District standards for building cleanliness

    + Ability to work with individuals of all levels

    + Good knowledge of building and cleaning practices, supplies and equipment

    + Some knowledge of hot water boiler and chiller equipment operation and maintenance

    + Ability to make semi-skilled plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical repairs

    + Willingness to perform janitorial tasks

    + Thoroughness, dependability and good physical condition

    + Initiative and imagination

    + Computer experience preferred

    Salary: Hourly wage will be determined by the current CCMA contract as well as experience
