    ICP is seeking a Labeler to join our team in Lynchburg, VA (KDC site). The primary responsibility of the Production Labeler is to label boxes, canisters, pails, drums and totes with the proper labels. This position comes with an expectation of being able to work at a fast pace and be able to meet the daily schedule.

     

    The pay for this position is $16.50 an hour.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintains strict adherence to all plant safety requirements including wearing proper PPE

    + Knowledge of and adherence to all requirements of company policies

    + Makes boxes

    + Labels boxes, canisters, pails, drums, and totes with correct product label(s) per work order

    + Shrink wraps pallets by hand

    + Uses pallet jack and/or tow motor to move pallets

    + Maintains cleanliness of work area

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Experience and Skills Required

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus

    + Ability to communicate effectively

    + Must be able to follow specific instructions (work instructions, procedures, etc.), both written and verbal

    + Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented

    + Must be able to work in a non-temperature regulated environment

    + Ability to work in chemical manufacturing environment, involving solvents and other hazardous materials

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform other necessary physical requirements in performance of regular job duties

    + Must be able to stand for prolonged periods

    + Must have good attendance
