Job Summary
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming within the clinical imaging portfolio. This role focuses on managing integration projects across multiple vendors and teams, ensuring successful implementation of radiology and cardiology applications in an IT healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
• Review project plans and coordinate project activities for integration initiatives.
• Manage backup, security, and user help systems as needed.
• Oversee smaller budget projects within the clinical imaging portfolio.
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technical teams to assess computing needs and system requirements.
• Facilitate meetings with department heads, managers, supervisors, and vendors to ensure cooperation and resolve issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users for system-related problems.
• Ensure alignment of integration deliverables with overall program objectives.
Skills & Experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Solid knowledge of computer hardware, software, and integration processes.
• Familiarity with production processes, quality control, and cost optimization techniques.
• Understanding of business and management principles, including strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies; PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• Technical knowledge of software such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
• Required: Experience managing projects with heavy integration components.
• Required: IT healthcare experience.
• Preferred: Experience with radiology or cardiology applications.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
