We are currently seeking a SAP Cutover lead to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Description:
Cutover Lead
Define and Manage all cutover/ mock cutover ( including system builds for testing/other needs activities for planning, execution and closeout. Establish and update Cutover tracker including Transport Request , system build, SAP CPI build etc, Review daily activity and share report/follow-up with key stakeholders/action owners, Together with Client Cutover Manager co-lead all cutover activities. Review daily cutover activities and share report/follow-up with key stakeholders/action owners within Client and SI as well as with Partners. Establish Program specific Communication Protocol for crucial phases (e.g. Quality Cutover /Production Cutover / Black-Out Phase etc), Develop the overall cutover strategy and plan for SAP S4 go-live. Define cutover scope, including technical, functional, data migration, and business activities. Build detailed cutover schedules covering pre-cutover, cutover weekend, and post-go-live tasks. Identify dependencies between business, IT, infrastructure, and third-party systems in a GxP Environment ( validation), Act as the single point of contact for all cutover-related activities. Facilitate regular cutover planning workshops with business and technical stakeholders. Establish governance and escalation paths for cutover issues. Ensure fallback/rollback /black out plans are defined and tested. Provide regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders. Prepare cutover dashboards, progress reports, and post-go-live reports. Communicate critical milestones, dependencies, and risks to all impacted teams.
Cutover transition- Ensure smooth handover to the hypercare and support teams. Validate that all cutover activities are properly documented and signed off. Conduct lessons-learned sessions for future cutovers. Monitor stabilization phase and ensure outstanding cutover items are resolved.
Cutover Deliverables/Work product-
Cutover strategy and master plan.
Detailed cutover schedule with dependencies ( Including system builds) using MS Project
Risk, issue, and contingency plans for cutover.
Communication plan for stakeholders during cutover.
Post-cutover handover and lessons-learned report
Skills
Proficient in MS Project
Quick and fast response
Proficient in Office 365 app suite
SAP Cutover experience with S4 Private cloud
Pharmaceutical industry experience with GxP Validation requirements
Collaborative with internal and external stakeholders
Best communicator
Proficient in soft skills such as communication, leading meetings, documenting minutes of meetings, establishing RAID logs and maintaining.
Sense of urgency and rigor for keeping on track
Sense of potential risks and escalation in time proactively.
