    Hilton Central School District is accepting applications for substitute school nurses for the 2025-26 school year. Registered Nurses are preferred, however LPN's may also be considered. Please apply online and download a copy of your nursing credentials:

     

    + NYS license

    + NYS registration certificate

    Job Qualifications

    Desirable traits of the candidates include:

    + Current CPR/AED training;

    + Current LPN license or RN certificate (RN preferred);

    + Able to follow District procedures and guidelines for health care and medications;

    + Able to follow doctor's orders for student medications;

    + Excellent communication and telephone skills;

    + Strong work ethic;

    + Confidentiality;

    + Able to interact with students, parents and staff;

    + School experience is preferred but not required

     

    Fingerprinting through the New York State Education Department is a requirement for working in the school district.
