The AI Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing specific architectural components and solutions for AI agents within the established Bluefield framework. This role works in close collaboration with Generative AI Engineers to convert architectural guidelines into practical, deployable systems, ensuring high technical quality at the project level. The ideal candidate will also act as a technical evangelist, sharing knowledge and showcasing the team's work through internal and external tech talks.
This role is eligible for our Flex Persona for candidates local to our Boston, MA office.
Responsibilities
+ Solution Design & Implementation: Design detailed technical solutions and blueprints for individual AI agents, ensuring alignment with the overarching architectural vision, including data flows, API integrations, and component interactions within Google Agent Space.
+ Technical Guideline Adherence: Ensure agent development efforts strictly follow established architectural patterns, coding standards, security protocols, and best practices.
+ Platform Optimization: Optimize Google Agent Space and Google Cloud Platform services for agent performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability on a project-by-project basis.
+ Component Development & Reusability: Design and contribute to the development of reusable agentic components, libraries, and common services.
+ Technical Problem Solving: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex architectural and integration challenges faced by Generative AI Engineers.
+ System Integration: Oversee the technical integration of newly developed agents with existing enterprise systems, databases, and external APIs.
+ Proof of Concepts (POCs) & Prototyping: Lead or significantly contribute to technical POCs and prototypes for new agentic capabilities to validate feasibility.
+ Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for agent architectures, design decisions, and deployment configurations.
+ Technical Review & Quality Assurance: Participate in code, design, and architectural reviews to ensure the quality, maintainability, and scalability of solutions.
+ Mentorship: Offer technical guidance and mentorship to Generative AI Engineers to help them effectively implement architectural principles.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 10-12 years of experience as a solution architect in cloud technologies.
+ 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions.
+ 5+ years of implementation experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and MLOps on cloud platforms.
+ 3+ years of experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models.
+ Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and natural language processing.
+ Proven experience providing technical guidance, mentoring engineers, and leading project teams.
+ Experience leading design and architecture review meetings to ensure solutions are well-architected, secure, and scalable.
+ Experience in designing and deploying multi-agent architectures with Agent Development Kit (ADK).
Nice-to-Have:
+ Knowledge of the Healthcare payer domain.
+ Solution Architect Associate certification (preferably in GCP or AWS).

Salary Range: $175,860.00 - $214,940.00
The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
