    As the Drug Checking Technician, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

    + Conduct initial screening and/or intake activities for referred participants in need of harm reduction case management to evaluate participant needs

    + Opioid Overdose Prevention Training

    + Explain process and limitations of spectroscopy

    + Utilize the spectrometer to analyze samples for clients receiving services at the main office

    + Work with agency leadership to develop data tracking tools in accordance with agency and Department of Health guidelines

    + Conduct syringe exchange to eligible participants as part of mobile outreach team

     

    Drug Checking Technician Minimum Salary: $42,000

     

    Drug Checking Technician Maximum Salary: $42,000

     

    Drug Checking Technician Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 - 4:30

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma and 2 years of outreach/case manager/casework experience

    + Associate's Degree in Health, Education, or Human Services preferred

    + Valid NYS Driver's License, Registration, and Insurance required

    + Personal cell phone required
